The 5.7 shoots a pretty small bullet really fast and that tends to equate to over penetration without creating a good wound channel. That's why they outlawed some of the early ammo for the 5.7x28 because they were shooting through kevlar vests.

Does anyone own one or have experience shooting one? I'm curious about how heavy it is. I know the gun itself is lightweight, but with a 20 round clip, I imagine it would get heavy. The 5.7x28mm round seems pretty awesome, especially the range that it gives.

The sound of a round wizzing past your head will scare the snot out of you far more than a canon blast in your own hand. Trust me.
