Keep at it someone has to draw

I'll be just south of you.  If you kick a buck, make sure to kick him my way.   :chuckle:
Gonna try and go as late as possible, I'll try and push them south

There is a muzzy elk hunt that opens on the 22nd in that unit.  Something to consider if looking at best hunt dates.   Pressure may be a bigger deal than any potential rut activity that may or may not be present towards the end of that hunt.

Antelope 33 Early Rifle.

I drew a late rifle deer tag in 33 a couple years ago, it's a cool area  but very remote.

Any advise on where to camp with my travel trailer? Whether to bring my side by side? It sounds a little like my antelope hunt a couple years ago in the Juniper unit a couple hours North of there, that was pretty remote also, a 2 hour rough & dusty drive each way to where I was hunting every day.

I'll have to look at a map.  I can't remember names.

Irrelevant for me but one of my hunting buddies called me with high excitment, telling me he drew a desert sheep tag

Can't beat that kind of luck, I had my odds for drawing desert sheep figured as better than the antelope tag I drew. The way they list the names of those who drew I saw my name before I got to the final list to see what it was for so I thought I may have drawn sheep for a few seconds, but I'm not complaining about my antelope tag.  :)
