Major setback:

"We hold that the Second Amendment does not preserve or protect a right of a member of the general public to carry concealed firearms in public," wrote Judge William Fletcher in the majority opinion.

Heard that over lunch on the radio. What the heck is wrong with these people? Trying to take guns away from the demographic that has shown the ability to own and use them responsibly, brilliant.

Ugh  :bash:  Another step by the left to whittle away at the 2ND AMEND; another step towards empowering criminals and hamstringing law abiding when it comes to protecting themselves.  Way to go California!

Hmm.  Lets outlaw concealed carry.  Okay, so everybody starts open carry.  How many freak outs will there be, cops time being wasted cause they get called about a man with a gun thats doing nothing but grocery shopping or pumping gas?

That judge needs disbarred and tried for treason.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

The problem is, its not THAT judge, its 7 of 4 of the Appeals Circuit Court judges. Most of them were appointed by either Clinton or Obama... makes sense. Their knows as the most extreme left judges in the country.

maybe the guy's right change it or write it better.
such as:
A well armed, well readied, well oiled militia being necessary to keep; not only the state free, but a  individual's state of freedom
the rights of the people shall not be infringed(means Govt. has no right to make laws against peoples right to be free). OR face a well armed militia.

It's a horrible decision. The circuit court decision that said that San Diego had to remove their requirement to show a need to carry might as well never been handed down now. This will have to go to the SCOTUS. I hope they have more sense but I have my doubts.

SCOTUS will likely end up a 4-4 tie leaving the lower ruling in place.  I see bad things coming, this will embolden the anti-gun crowd in this state to try some Kalifornia tactics ...

It's the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals. The 9th circuit is the Federal Appellate Court for California, Washington and 8 other Western states. The only way this would ever be overturned would be by the SCOTUS. And if Washington passes this law then it will be binding and can not be appealed unless the SCOTUS accepts it.
