I am confident he can and will. He has been a "thru
hiker
hunter" his whole life and time has slowed him down but he still puts on lots of miles.

I drew Avalanche Gorge goat as well.
I have no idea what to expect at this point, hoping to hear from previous tag holders maybe.

Well I have sent in the funds to buy the tag and have been getting out hiking at least a couple times a week with my back pack on. It feels pretty good to be getting out and putting on some miles.
Also I'm waiting for Leupold to send back the scope I had them add the CDS system to so I can get back to the range for more shooting.
From what I hear there is still quite a bit of snow on the Mt Baker areas so I'm holding off on a scouting trip hoping for better conditions soon.
Any one have any Avalanche Gorge updates?

We'll be heading up on Saturday for the maiden scouting trip. Nothing to big just a day hike and some glassing
