Banner year in the making!
« on: June 10, 2016, 10:50:14 AM »
Family is set up for a hell of a year! I drew a muzzy colockum cow tag which I may not even hunt now, heres why. I called the brother in law who I have been schooling through the permit applications now for a whopping 2 years and he says so is Wenaha east muzzy a good tag?  :bash: Long story short he drew that permit with 2 points! Then the old man calls and says look up my results. I punch in his numbers and under quality elk it says drawn for wenaha west rifle! his made more sense with 18 points but wow 2 awesome bull hunts to go help on and top it off with the wife drawing a late chiwawa rifle tag and its looking like a banner year for the family!

Yeah the 2 point thing had me shocked I called B.S on that and had to check myself. We applied for the same hunt and me having 15 points I thought I had a better chance but what do I know  :chuckle:. Im pumped for him though should be fun even though it putts an end to my colockum cow hunt. I will just have to settle for spikes in the wenaha.

Congrats to the tag holders, sweet! Better have the one guy with 2 points buy a lottery ticket! (grin) Might as well get that cow too! Good luck!

Wow, should be an awesome season for you!  Nice that the hunts are spread out too, so hopefully you can get the time to go on all of them.

Two years in a row for Chiwawa, maybe the kids and I will see you up there again!  We're supposed to swing from El Nino to a hard La Nina in late summer/early fall, so maybe that will bring some early snow.

Yes hope to see you all up there again. I have a Colorado tag to fill first so we are hitting the last 4 days of the season. My wife's pumped! She won't have to try to hard to beat my buck from last year lol.

Nevermind theres not even a spike hunt for muzzy in the Wenaha! Just went through the regs. Oh well I guess im just a pack mule for this trip.
