Here's a question for all you Westside elk hunters:
Which unit in your opinion provides the most "East side" hunt in terms of terrain? I'm not talking bull quality or elk populations, simply rugged and relatively dry country.
If there is one thing I hate about this state it is the Westside jungles that our beloved Rosies call home.
I've scouted 513 quite a bit and it appears very promising, especially way up high, but figure the weather can put the kabosh on that hunt pretty quick by the time November rolls around. Regardless, my vote goes to good old 513 due to its expansive high alpine areas.
Anyway, looking forward to hear some other opinions!
