Don't forget those big bulls have real tough meat. I have one of the late tags so if that's all that left so be it! Good luck and keep me in the loop for intel.

I know those big Bulls can be tough,  but once in a lifetime, may have to use the pressure cooker.

Mine was very tough(and it was not a big bull), ended up turning 80% into burger, jerky, and pep stick.

No truer statement than that!  My $0.02 would be to get a good pack.  I put my Exo 5500 to the test last year on my bull and it made a huge difference from what it would have been with my last meat hauler.  Also, watch a few videos on gutless methods and have plenty of meat sacks and rope with you.  When you're solo with a big animal on the ground you'll thank yourself.

Way easier to just drag them out whole with a 4 Wheeler.  ;).  Some sick part of me hopes we get to pack one out in Maine this year though.

I will say that even with the 4 Wheeler last year it was pretty difficult in some spots and I really didn't know if it was going to work.

Best way is to load them in the truck whole.
