Elk Area 6014
« on: June 14, 2016, 10:58:42 AM »
Just drew a quality hunt tag for antlerless elk in Elk Area 6014 (Buckley/Enumclaw).  Season starts December 30, 2016. I would appreciate any advice concerning best areas/private land access/general intel.  Much appreciated.

I would call the WDFW regional office and ask for the Conflict Specialist for that area.  It is early.  But, you can get some info and possibly get some pointers as the season gets closer.

Thank you very much.  I have done a topo map recon, and I plan to get out my old jungle boots and do an intital ground recon this weekend.  I will also follow your advice.  Much appreciated.

It's all private land.  Talk to any farmer that has corn or any other crops planyted on both sides of the White.  Most of them would be happy to see some elk get shot.

My girlfriend also drew that tag. Which month are your season dates?

Oh just seen you posted in December. Her tag is in February. Hancock owns a section of land on the easterly side of 6014.
