I drew the peaches archery tag this year and was just looking at the regs... It looks like 336 is open to all archery hunters and 346 is open to just the special permit holders? If this is correct sweet, but I might be dreaming. Just looking for some clarification. Thanks

Yep. If you like fishing, go explore the Norse Peak.

It opend up a few years ago as a gen. season for archery in sep.  It has a late gen season but it hard for me to harvest an elk then for some reson and it runs into my mule deer season too.

it no longer has a general early season open for archery.  Only permit holders can hunt it during Sept.  Side not if you do hunt that unit with your permit you can't shoot a cow in 346.

That would be because the permit is for "quality bull", correct?

when the permit comes in the mail it will say any bull.  If you're hunting 336 with that permit you can shoot a cow if you choose to because it has an open anlerless season.

U can shoot a cow or spike in the late season with a bow.  No gen. early archery season.  It did have a gen. archery season open for cow or spike for 3 years in a row back in like 2010,11 and 12 or something like that
It was a fun hunt. It was very easy to shoot a cow during that 3 year period.  I learned a lot about elk hunting in the 3 years it was open because there were elk every were and that allowed me to study their behaviors and stuff. We had 8 guys in our group and all of us harvested all 3 years even a few of the guys got a cow and it was their 1st time hunting!. So many elk we would go for spikes the 1st 6 or 7 days then cow or spime after that.  I hope they open it up again.
