Anybody know how many they need to go over before they will open this up? I have always wanted to try this out and hope this is the year.

Listening to NWWC, Director Unsworth said they are drawing up plans for a fishery, so I don't think it'll be too long.

Commercial net fishery via the tribe is happening right now. I'm pretty sure the BC indians have some sort of deal on their percentage of those sockeye too and with last year's poor survival rate back to Canada, am thinking that's the driving force why it's not scheduled to open July 1 with the Kings. So far, their predicted fish numbers aren't even in the ballpark. Good news for us fishermen.
