Back Country Hunts
« on: June 29, 2016, 09:28:50 AM »
Let us help you on your back country wilderness hunts.I have hunted the wilderness my whole life. Either by foot or horseback so if we can help in any way dont hesitate to ask. I strongly believe in back country hunts, no roads,rv's or generators just you and the wilderness. In my opinion it is the most rewarding hunt you can go on. On our back country hunts you still get the comfort of home. Wall tents, cots with pads, chairs with backs and arm rests. One thing I have learned if your going to hunt the back country and be successful constantly you need to have a  comfortable  camp so you can get a good night sleep. You are going to work hard out there and its steep and deep and if your tired and sore you cant put in a 100%. And it takes a 100% to get the Big Ones. We do offer back country hunts in the William O Douglas and Goat Rocks Wilderness. Information is free, so if you have ant questions dont hesitate to ask.
Good luck to all you back country hunters

How is it for deer hunting in your areas?  I see lots of pictures of nice elk...just curious about the deer.

Getting better, seen more Bucks last year in my area than I have in a while. Not an easy hunt you might not see a buck all day. Then move to the next drainage and see a group of 4 or 5 nice bucks. Ive got my eyes on a real nice 5x5 with a drop  tine I will be pursuing this year. If he has matured like I think he will have.
Good luck on all your hunting adventures !!
