Laser engraving

We are getting ready to redeploy back home from Afghanistan shortly. We are getting our young first time company commander a gift. We are contemplating several different gifts. He likes his guns (as do a lot of us). I was thinking about a laser engraved scope. Has anyone seen or know of this being done? Any help would be appreciated. Redhook out.
