I've been doing lots of google earth scouting trying to find some good areas to do some boots on the ground scouting. I'm just having a hard time figuring out where Hancock land ends and werhauser land begins. Was wondering if anyone had a link that had the timber company lands mapped out that I could cross reference with google earth. The areas I'm wanting to check out are a couple hour drive so I don't want to drive down there just to find out I need a permit to hike in there. Thanks for any help
Do the onxmaps have the names of all private property or is it just listed as private property? Does the onxmaps for an iPhone run off of satellite or cell signal? Or do you just download the map?

However, if you pre download the map for the area you want, you can go to airplane mode and it will use your phone's GPS to show you where you are. There are several threads on this forum about the app. Their website has a pretty good FAQ section also.
