Truck broken into
« on: July 25, 2016, 08:14:59 AM »
Hey all,

It happened a while back but I hadn't thought to post here. Figured I would just incase.

My truck was broken into In Seattle near the Melting Pot.

They took:

My grandpas Nylon Shoulder Holster
An old Case hunting knife
My "Ruger" Carhartt jacket
Pendleton Mountain blanket
My girlfriends Diamond necklace
Keys to a 94 Firebird

I don't expect anything to come of it but just on the offside chance. Please and thank you for any and all help. Hope all is well for all you guys!

Sorry, Husky.  That really sucks.  I just had my truck broken into in northern Idaho.  It is a terrible feeling to come back and see the shattered window.

Here's to hoping you get some gear back, or at least some insurance money.  :/

Dude half the vehicles in that area get broken into. My wife saw someone doing it in broad daylight with cars everywhere. A guy just walked up to a car and smashed the window.

The only way to leave a vehicle in Seattle is to keep the interior spotless and not have the windows tinted so thieves can see that there is nothing inside. Don't even leave any change in the console.

If you can't do that then use valet parking.

Seattle sucks.

Terrible feeling, been there too.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Yea I thought about setting a trap under my seat but I figured they'd probably come back and smash the vehicle after losing a few fingers. But I met a guy who actually sat up on a roof with a paintball gun and hit a couple of them.

Anyways check out the little red hen on the weekends.
