sure wish the first lite red desert boxers would last more than a couple hikes,  loved them until they wore a hole and let me down literally.

maybe we should petition darn tough to make boxers  :chuckle:  I sure like their socks!

No pinch no stink
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

My biggest issue with underwear is the ride up factor. I have found that the Hanes no ride boxer briefs work the best. They stay down on my legs and also breathe well.

I my first pairs of UA 6 years ago and love them. I could go all day without issue.
Unfortunately they have changed something and now they don't work as well.  As stated above, moisture is not good when wearing them.   :yike:
I also have a pair of Silver Tec and they are a step above these "new" UA.
I may try those Champion.

I switched to polyester a few years back and I have had good luck with the walmart specials.  I got the starter brand 8.97 a piece and have not looked back.  I found them on Ebay and a few other places cheaper when I was looking, but I haven't had to buy new ones in a while.  I have 14 pairs just for hunting that should last me many more years.

I second the scent free powder

I bought smart wool merino underwear and it lasted like 3 hikes before it was toast with holes through the crotch. Synthetic under armor causes chafing when wet with sweat unless you use body glide. I like the champion dry kind from Costco. Don't chafe when wet with sweat but still breath and they lost wayyyy longer then the 55 dollar pair I bought from smart wool. I literally didn't know if I was going to be able to make it off the mountain I got so chafed from under armor synthetic underwear after they got wet and I kept hiking. Bleeding on inside of legs basically lmao...My friend thought it was funny. Prolly TMI but this is an underwear thread i guess.

You guys should check out body glide for under arms and anywhere else you might chafe its awesome and made for triathlon runners.

These?
Champion Elite Boxer Briefs (M 32"- 34") https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B1WAQBE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_n5ZExb37VF0JG

Ya that's what I rock man. I've put some serious testing and experience into this lol

Looks like they have awesome reviews too
I wear these too... after trying several other types and materials, this seems to be the best for me

Really like these

Think I have worn most of the UA boxer jocks including those you linked. I like them,  but these wotk better for me:

I wore mine for 3 hikes and they were destroyed.  I'm like "why's the boys slappin my knees?" then did some investigation and found they'd worn a hole and gravity sucked them trough.

There are quite a few other merino wool brands marketed for back packing. If the 2 types I orderd last night don't fit my high expectations, I will move onto them. Think I will steer clear of first lite for now & try the Patagonia next.
