Synthetic stock repair sling bolt ripped out

I love Boyd stocks, I got three of them, but they cost $124.00+/-, epoxy $4.00/5.00.
Quick easy fix,  remove the stock, mix the epoxy, put a little bit in the hole & insert bolt/stud/screw,
(be neat)let set until epoxy hardens, DONE. Reassemble rifle. On a tikka you should have no problem, tighten the fasteners GOOD and snug. no loss of zero.

You are advocating the nut and screw style vs what I pictured correct (also recommending nut and screw be set in epoxy too)?  You also feel my zero would be close or same if I removed the stock per video instructions?

No, I'm not advocating the  nut and screw thing. Use the original screw that you showed in the original post with the epoxy. Epoxy the hole and the screw, put screw in hole, clean off excess epoxy, allow epoxy to cure, done. As far as the disassemble reassemble, it would be no different then when you take the rifle completely down after hunting season to clean it. I have done this on a couple of rifles and have not had any problems for several years.
Just an idea. You do take your rifles down to parade rest after each season to clean them don't you?

Never heard of taking gun apart each season to clean.  Always afraid of messing up my zero but must of not had a thorough teacher...  Dad always cleaned the bore, barrel and anything he could reach without breaking the rifle down.  Interesting.

You break your guns down "parade" each season?  You'd probably puke if you looked at mine.  . I'd really like to see how it's done proper.  Always trying to get better and learn more. Thanks

Don't try to fix it yourself. Either get them to send you a new one, or buy a quality replacement (not a lot of options on that with this manufacture)

I pulled the barrel and action off and lost my zero to find out I couldn't put a nut on.  Gonna have to put epoxy in the hole.  Hate to do this but hopefully the screw doesn't pop on me again.

As long as you didn't remove the scope from the action then your "zero" should be just fine.

Be careful with the recoil lug. it is easy to NOT get it reseated when reassembling the rifle. I would contact Beretta/Tikka.
