Taxidermy recommendations near Lake Stevens
« on: July 05, 2016, 09:23:42 PM »
Just looking to have everything lined up before the season and not be scrambling if I get something I want mounted.  A google search left much to be desired, and I searched the names on here and only saw Moro mentioned.  Would be looking at deer and elk shoulder mounts, and a bear rug.  Who has recommendations?

I'd drive the 90 minutes to Spanaway...... Nature's Way Taxidermy.  Mike will take care of you.

Another vote for Fidalgo Taxidermy.  Garth did a black bear rug for me 24 years ago and it still looks great.  They also did a bear half mount for me recently.  Quality work.

Mike at natures way just mounted a full body mountain lion for me this past winter and couldn't be happier! Posted in this section somewhere.

Not sure why you would have an issue with Moro.  We have had a number of mule deer done by them, as well as a very nice black bear.  Last year my son had a European mount done on his elk, and it came out very nice.

Don't have an issue with them, just didn't see many opinions on others.  Moro was the only one I saw mentioned.  Im open to all, just wanted to see who people recommend or don't recommend.

I also recommend Fildago Taxidermy.  Garth and Tammy do outstanding work!

I had them do 2 mule deer mounts, and they are currently working on my lifesize cougar mount.

They should be done with my cougar any day now. Bad news is I've waited 1 year and 7 months...,but I know it will be done right!

+1 for Nature's Way... Well worth the drive in my opinion and I'm fairly picky.

I cringe every time I think about driving through Seattle.  Some great looking mounts on their site though.

Bomb down 405 to I-5. Seattle diverted.
