Rifle hunting in Markworth Forest: is it legal?
«
on:

I've been trying to find out if I can head in with my rifle to Markworth forest outside duvall and am having trouble discerning if I am able to head in there for Modern Firearm season. What throws me is I've seens some signs around it (or at least pictures) that say "NO SHOOTING", however
http://wdfw.wa.gov/publications/01817/wdfw01817.pdf
mentions that you can get road accessabilty passes for hunting there. Does anyone have and insight on this issue?
Thanks!

It is open for modern firearms. The rest of those signs say something to the effect of ...except for legal hunting seasons somethings something something. East of 203 is modern firearm legal in that area.

Yup open for rifle hunting, just not target shooting.
