Get over the mini van phobia. They are good rigs. Wife didn't want one either. Well we bought it and now she adores it. They are really versatile comfy nice driving rigs. Heck I even like it.

Nothing against them , just how it isActually they are front engine front wheel drive and they get around in snow, mud etc. very good. Off road no its not a truck. Seems to me you will need a truck if that's the goal. Get quad cab like me. 6 people. Ours was a business fleet rig. Like new, maint., and low miles for great $ at the time.

You need a Full size Van. Ford or Chevy. Pick your power plant. 4x4. More room than you will ever need and can seat 15!!!!!
