2 days till opener!!!!

I'm getting excited for the opener in 2 days!!!.Hope everyone is practicing and getting ready. Thought I would start a positve thread about hunting because it seems all I've been seeing is negative after negative threads about politics or the world ending. Anyways who's excited?  We get only a short season each year then when it's over we drag all year till the season starts again.

I for one am very excited. Drew a bull tag with my dad and uncle. It is about all I think about. Wife is ready too so I can concentrate on something else

Oregon again?  I don't think I am going this year sadly enough.  Drew a decent tag here and our season don't match up well.  I might make it down there for the first 6 days, but not likely.

Yes this year I drew the tag that my dad drew last year. The knowledge we gained will hopefully increase my odds this fall.

Waiting on modern Elk season to open up and 3 cow tags. Gathering info for the scouting trips then the season to start. Hoping and praying for early snow up high!

Not to rain on your parade, but it opens 61 days from today. 

Got my permit in the mail today, going to check trail cameras next Friday. Can't wait!
