When are you moving back? Or are you? If you do I can get you probably as many tails as you want, I can't believe how many we tossed over the years, bear sure liked them to! No clue why

Since you would be hard pressed to find a beaver tail that is 8 inches wide I would imagine almost all of them are sideways, unless they used two tails and sewed them together in the middle.

When I used to sell the tails through Fur Harvesters they had to be all in one piece. Split up one side and then opened up and dried. $3 for 8" wide and over so every one was over 8" wide. I shipped 150 0ne year.

Yea the tails out here are much longer and thinner than the ones out west.  6 inches wide is a really big one here.

Sometime before Christmas, I was hoping before Oct, but it's going too take longer than I had hoped.

Maybe you are not understanding me.
To sell them there you split only one side and left the other side so that a tail came out all in one piece so a 4" wide tail would make an 8" wide tail hide. Just about every adult beaver has a tail this wide, I bet even in VA.

I think it would be perfect for your rest and or a sideplate.  I'm also going to make one into a handle wrap.  PM me your address and I'll send you one.  ;)
