Found him while scouting on Wednesday. Thought he was a Three at first. But not a bad Two.

Here's a big Sitka fork that gave me the slip out of Cordova. But only because I forgot to load my gun when I went ashore that morning. Did a perfect sneak to 30 yards and He stood up out of his bed and......click, Jack, click....... oh @#%^$%^@#$.  That is salt water behind him, Prince William Sound. You can see it better in the second photo.

A couple more big Prince William Sound forkies, one autumn buck from up on the mountain and a beach buck from November.

Nice Sitkas!
Cordova is a great town, huh!

Here's a Coweeman forkie that I shot while hunting with my wife. A couple of firsts for her: never seen her hubby shoot any game (she rarely goes with me into the woods) and never wears her boots I bought her for Christmas. She also watched me fight/kill the buck with my knife. Yeah, I made the mistake a leaving my rifle in the truck, thinking I wouldn't want her to drop it (she drops crap all the time!) while I packed the deer out. Good times.

Hunt to kill...Kill to hunt
