Big two point blacktails

Definitely a goal of mine, a blacktail buck with my recurve. I had a stand set up for this last year but used a 270 during late buck at 10 yards to take my first deer. 20 feet was probably too high for an archery shot, in retrospect.

I like 20 to 25 feet for compound.

oh I remember the "buck hole" well! Steeper then a cows face lol same hole we saw the biggest true 3x3 blackie ive ever seen bedded in full velvet

Thanks. Yes on the old growth. I heard him coming and shot him at 30 yards when he came over a ridge. He was facing me and I thought he was a 4pt that was on the trail cam from a day or two earlier.
