Way to tell people on the internet that they can use the internet.

Buying online comes with shipping costs which adds to the premium price of specialty ammo.

I also think 308/3006 calibers are better for Katrina type events and ammo availability would be a factor in such an event.  It's a similar reason why I wouldn't want a .45 gap or 357 sig.

But I also admit to being biased towards having zero faith in our government to handle a disaster.

I suppose I would consider a 6.5 if I were into long range competitive shooting but not as an all around hunting gun that I could possibly need someday for survival.

My brother in law just picked up the Ruger Precision 6.5 Creedmoor. Seems like a heck of a rifle. A little heavy if you carry it around all day at 10.6 lbs. I'm curious about its adjustable trigger.

With the right bullet selection for the application with all the arm chair Google fan club boys taking a time out.  The Creedmoor walks all over the .308 Winnie internet load data math ladies.

Doesn't that apply to pretty much any caliber? :dunno:

You don't have to "Pitch" a cartridge when you have a real world grasp on bullet performance.  S*#T or get off the pot!
