It's a Brazilian maned wolf. Pretty crazy looking dogs

That's exactly my thoughts too. It was actually pretty large and really tall.  In that second picture you can see his bottom k9 tooth, it was about three inches long.

Pretty cool animal. I assume you weren't able to salvage the hide for a mount??? What takes you to Brazil; aviation or petroleum industries? Thanks for sharing.

didn't look into salvaging the hide, as its an endangered species and all... I'm in the coffee business and I travel around buying coffee.
