First Lite Chama- hood or no hood? 230g or 330g?
« on: July 22, 2016, 08:24:31 PM »
These look pretty comfortable. Wondering if I should get the hood kind. And the 330g says heavyweight but has no hood. It's hard to be specific but I'm looking for a go to "sweater" for when it isn't raining. Thanks.

And they only have the 330g in black, which I don't really want.

I have one of each in mid weight.  I have never really worn the hood.  If I need head coverage I end up wearing a beanie.  Depending on when you would be wearing it would help determine whether to get a hood or not, also if you're a hood person or not.  I'm generally not so it's usually down.  If the hood isn't up the collar tends to fold over so you will lose some neck coverage.  Very happy with them though!  I think you will be happy either way.

Hood. I end up using my hood every time I wear it

I'd go with the hooded chama, its so light weight and being stretch fit it doesn't flop around on your neck. Least you'll have it available if ya ever need it.

That's kind of what I was thinking.

I have the hooded chama and love it. rather than wear a beanie ill pull the hood up and put my hat over the hood since its thin. also its great for sleeping in to keep your head warm.
