So Elk tags will be gone instantly. However, with that many multi deer permits available will the remaining available be open to purchase for general population that DID NOT apply for a multi in the drawing?
They were last year I thought?  I do know there were tags still available Early Dec last year I just do not know if they were general public or only those that had applied.

I know at any other time you can purchase licenses for someone else. Does that still apply in this case or does it have to be your own specifically?

My wife's great great grandma buys my wife's uncles hunting licenses every Christmas for him he only hunts rifles so great great grandma buys his tags every year and wraps it up in a lil box and my coworker found out that someone else can go stand in line for his tag so he is sending his daughter with his general elk tag and hopping to get the multie elk

The persons elk tag will need to be surrendered on the spot at time of purchase.

How do you surrender a license if you put in for multi season on your computer.

If you were drawn for an MS tag then you should have purchased it by 7/31. If you purchased a weapon specific tag to apply for special permits that tag must be surrendered if/when you purchase a leftover MS tag. If you haven't purchased a tag at all then you can simply purchase a leftover MS tag while quantities last.

If anyone that DID NOT apply for multi elk/deer ends up able to and buying one, let us know! I'd love to pick up a multi deer

You can go hunt elk anytime too.  Just ask the poachers!

Got my MS deer!!!  Didn't want or apply for elk.
