I was the only one in line at a walmart and within seconds the elk were gone... the cashier was able to click on multi elk and hit yes and the screen went blank. He called support and they confirmed they sold out in seconds. Good news is I save 182 bucks!

I was stuck on an airplane.  Still say it should be a prepaid redraw.  Oh well I have my Idaho tag in hand  :IBCOOL:

I was first in line and I got a multi season elk tag for my son. He is excited to bowhunt. Really lucked out since the guy who helped me was just trained to sell tags this morning. First timers luck.

There was 3,290 before 10:30, I'd be willing to bet they won't sell out.

Yeah I'm hoping not. It's tough saying. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

no bones for me.  I got there over half an hour early and there were already three guys in line.  All the stores had two or three guys wanting a shot at elk leftovers.

I believe the deer will be no problem to get. I just got home with mine. Went to get my dads MS elk this morning and there was a line before opening. Aparently the first guy in line got his tag, but had been at the store since 11:00 PM last night.

Seriously Bob, if you tossed out an elk permit (any kind) this morning it would've been a bloody last man standing brawl.  The air was tense......

I stayed at work and saved my money for Idaho next year.  I hear that they give you a multi season without a permit.....
