I believe the deer will be no problem to get. I just got home with mine. Went to get my dads MS elk this morning and there was a line before opening. Aparently the first guy in line got his tag, but had been at the store since 11:00 PM last night.
I stayed at work and saved my money for Idaho next year. I hear that they give you a multi season without a permit.....
I got my tag but my brother forgot to buy a mutli-season app this year and they gave them a hard time at Fred Meyers saying he wasn't allowed to buy leftover tags. I can't find anything on WDFW's website or on the email from WDFW saying that you needed to have applied in order to be eligible to buy the tag. Anyone know any info?
Best part is, we don't lose our points for the multi draw next year!! I will have 6

You just have to be smart enough to get out of the city to get away from the competition. No one at my Walmart - I could have easily scored the elk tag if I wanted one. There were probably less than 30 people in the entire store. I had to go find a clerk to work the sporting goods desk and I waited until 10:30 til I went to look for him because I didn't want him to have to stand there and wait until 10:32 to log in to WDFW.

First in line doesn't mean squat. That seems a bit ludicrous. There are sporting goods stores that sell licenses everywhere.
