I believe the deer will be no problem to get. I just got home with mine. Went to get my dads MS elk this morning and there was a line before opening. Aparently the first guy in line got his tag, but had been at the store since 11:00 PM last night.
talked to the guy behind me and his buddy was 2nd in line at 11:30 last night in enumclaw at work sports.  Don't think he got one, that sucks.

I stayed at work and saved my money for Idaho next year.  I hear that they give you a multi season without a permit.....

No it's a or b tag. But for deer yes. I'm leaving in less than two weeks f Washington!!!!

A or B, it doesn't matter in the panhandle.  Both give you archery, muzzle loader and rifle seasons

I got my tag but my brother forgot to buy a mutli-season app this year and they gave them a hard time at Fred Meyers saying he wasn't allowed to buy leftover tags.  I can't find anything on WDFW's website or on the email from WDFW saying that you needed to have applied in order to be eligible to buy the tag.  Anyone know any info?

Agree with Trophyhunt on this one, it was clearly outlined in the email that was sent out.  Being he didn't apply for one, he might not have received that email.  Additionally, it wouldn't be right for someone to buy an extra/left over multi-season license if they didn't first hand over the $6.50 in the first place for the original drawing.  If you could do that I might start saving my $6.50 and just wait for the extras to go on sale.  Two years in a row I've got it that way.

You could end up with 8 if they send you a letter saying you got drawn even though you didn't but then stood in line to get it.  :chuckle:

That seems a bit ludicrous.  There are sporting goods stores that sell licenses everywhere.  You just have to be smart enough to get out of the city to get away from the competition.  No one at my Walmart - I could have easily scored the elk tag if I wanted one. There were probably less than 30 people in the entire store.  I had to go find a clerk to work the sporting goods desk and  I waited until 10:30 til I went to look for him because I didn't want him to have to stand there and wait until 10:32 to log in to WDFW.

Agreed it is crazy. I didn't stay. Went back at 11:00 and bought the deer when there was no line.

Unless I just bought the last one, they are still up for grabs.

????  Elk Tags sold out in first minute - only 1 in 20 stores were able to make a sale......Even if you had got clerk to log on at 10:30:00 you only had a 1 in 20 chance..

No you couldn't have easily scored one, systems were slow and a buddy of mine who was first in line didn't get an elk tag and he said the lady was quick about getting his stuff scanned in. First in line doesn't mean squat.
