I just tried to buy the deer and told they were sold out. I asked them to call the state and they did and confirmed they were sold out.

I really, really doubt this (no offense to the previous posters).  Please confirm it tomorrow.

That's what I was thinking-- maybe they asked about elk tags instead? :dunno:

My cashier got the elk confused with the deer and told me they were sold out. I had to have her recheck.

I really hope I am wrong.  But I specifically asked for deer. I could see on the screen that there was no option to pick the multi season deer.  She said it looks like they are sold out.  I said no way.  She said she could call the state and I said please do.  I specifically heard her ask if the deer multi season tags were sold out.

Like I said I would be happy to be wrong.

Did you apply for the multi tag? I just spoke to Tony at wdfw licensing office and there are tons of deer tags left. Just a reminder, only those who applied and were not drawn are eligible

Yep, I did apply.  I specifically went to Auburn Sports and Marine thinking they would be more experienced.  I will try Fred Meyer tonight.

has anyone been able to buy one that did not apply? Seems like a lot of left overs but you had to apply. Wonder when they will just open it up like the last few years and sell a few more.

I would guess they will in a couple years, but my guess is they will add on the $6.50 or whatever it was for the people that didn't apply during the draw and just want to buy leftovers.

I tried but it said "removed from cart for a rule violation." Wouldn't let me purchase.
