Got D-Rock to like Bowtech
« on: July 31, 2016, 02:53:19 PM »
At Bownanza today.  Was tired and in a hurry.  Went to draw back and line up my shot on a long range shot 70 yards.  You all know where this is going.  Squeezed the trigger and crack.  Sound like a gun going off.  Guy next to me is like what the heck was that.  I didn't see me arrow fly.  So I look down at my quiver yup 4 arrows there and that is what I had when I started before I took the shot.  In over 7 years of shooting I never driver fired any of my bows.  Well a first for me.  We look my bow over.  Strings all look good, nothing cranked, nothing bent so I load up and arrow and draw back.  Hey were is my peep, it is gone and I didn't even notice while looking over the string.  Oh well line up the shot and squeeze hey I hit that bear finally.  Day before was a clean miss and a lost arrow.  So on to @D-Rock425 he is sitting up with Tyler at the booth set up of Rock Creek Archery.  I bring the bow up to have him check it out too.  They were both looking at it and couldn't find anything wrong.  D-Rock425 said he would buy that bow in a heart beat.  That Prodigy is legit for sure. I will have Denton check it out when he gets back.

Wow that is amazing it survived. I tried to nock two arrows at a target there lol. Most of the dry fired bows I've seen will bend the string loop pegs

Hoh Boy.  This is going to be a fun thread.  So DRock is a convert now, is he??

Happy to hear about your bow.  Yes, we all do silly things sometime.

I didn't know D-Rock was a bomb technician. He's a braver man than I.

I would stop bowhunting before I shot bowtech.  What type of person would I be if I shot a bowtech after talking so much (truth) crap about them for so long.  I wouldn't be able to face my children.

It was the luck of the Irish that it didn't blow up.  Luckily enough there was a leprechaun named D-Rock there for me  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
