Big Game Only 3-D Shoot in the Yakima Canyon
« on: July 18, 2016, 04:11:09 PM »
Hi Guys,

I'll post the official flyer, but I decided to do a Big Game only fun shoot right before season.  Its cheap, no score cards, no slow pokes, just 30+ Big Game targets in natural terrain to help get you dialed in.  Here is the event page, https://www.facebook.com/events/1776043055966067/

We'll kick it off on Friday night, so you can get a round of 3-D in and still scout that weekend. I'll bet you can run the course in under 2 hours because we don't get a big turnout despite having a great course.  Thanks everyone, I hope to see you there.

This will be a BIG GAME ONLY fun shoot to help you dial in right before hunting season. There will be 30+ Big Game Targets set up at reasonable distances, in WESTERN terrain. Sagebrush, wilowbrush, rocks, hills, etc. Wear your hunting pack and binocs! There will be no Challenge Course - sorry big boys, just great shots at distances you should hit every time.

We'll kick it off on Friday afternoon at 4 pm and it will be casual. No score cards, no slow pokes, just a bunch of shooting arrows without the hassle. Plus its cheap!

$20 all weekend -all you can shoot.
$10 for 16 years and under. All you can shoot.
$50 family rate, both days.

PARKING AND COURSE ENTRANCE:

The course entrance is about 1/4 mile south of Red's Fly Shop on Canyon Road, We like this be a Load/Unload Zone only since parking is on the highway. As long as there is room, park on the road. Drivers can also park down at Red's/Canyon River Ranch. We'll have a driver shuttling driver's back up the course every couple of minutes. Super easy and you'll be parked at the resort, not along the highway.

FOOD AND DRINKS:

After the shoot, shooters can grab a burger and a drink down at Canyon River Grill and we open for breakfast on Saturday at 8:30 am. We'll give away a few prizes in the afternoon down here as well. Just mentjion that you were at the shoot and you'll get a special price!

Wife and I will see you on that Friday

Hi guys,

I have an updated poster, if anyone would like a high resolution copy to print email me at joe@redsflyshop.com and I'll send you one over.  This will be a good shoot to do with your pack and binocs on, and may scout some deer that weekend too.  It will be a quick course to get through with 30 good shots.

Bring a practice broadhead for the first 3 targets and enter the Deadliest Bowhunter Comp.  A quick fun way to test your broadhead game against the other shooters.  Todd Peyser is sponsoring a European Mount for the winner!
