There is a lot of land off bear creek dewato road.  like said above go to Olympic resource management website they put out maps of what areas are open for walk in hunting.  There are some of their gates in that area that are closed for different reasons.

hunt the stormy rainy days , those bucks will get into clear cuts ,when you still hunt through a area turn around and go back just a trail or so off you last path. often they will jump up when you go back through . shot gun hunting with 00 buck can be productive . good luck.
