real started dogs

If anyone is looking for a dog who is ready to hunt or start in hunt tests I know of two dogs whom are very well trained with excellent pedigrees and health clearances. Both are black labs. Both have excellent foundations in training and socialization. They are available only to good family homes who will hunt and or, run hunt tests. Owners are looking for around $3,000. They have four times that cost invested into full time training. I've personally worked with both dogs and they are very nice guys. If you are interested give me a pm.

Shoot me your contact info. And ill forward it if you are interested. These are field trial washouts who have been with one of the best young dog trainers in the nation. One has a couple jams. Nothing wrong with the dogs. They just aren't going to be competitive at the open all age level. Owners are very serious about whom they place their dogs with and this is why you can get them for far less than they are worth. A good home is more important than making another $5k.
These would probably be senior nearing master hunter level dogs with some hunt test specific training.

This is a great way to get an excellent hunting dog. The price may seem steep but I bet it is a fraction of what the dogs are worth. if you are looking for a dog and can make the price point you have to at least take a look. Out of puppy age, trained, known to be healthy, quality ability and breeding. When he says "washouts" it just means they aren't going to be all star field trial dogs. Most of us don't need one. High quality is good enough. I don't know Happy G personally but have followed his posts for a long time. He knows dogs. If I was looking for a dog this is where I would start. I already have 2 tho.

Dogs can go live with the homes on a test run to make sure they fit n with the family too. They are located in McKenna at a pretty famous kennel.

Sounds like they've been training with Alex Drent, under Jim Gonia. Alex is making quite a name for himself as a Derby trainer/handler and even with the big dogs. If I were in the market for a well started dog, I would jump on it in a heartbeat. Would also love to be able to have my own dogs on their truck just for the properties they get to train on up here and in Cali... happy dogs I'm sure.
Good luck placing them.
