Cougars in The Methow
« on: January 04, 2017, 08:14:16 AM »
Seems the Methow cougar problems are increasing, just in the last week there have been two cougar incidents. A cougar killed a dog up Poorman creek, and one was shot in a chicken pen up the Chewach.

I guess WDFW don't update their site anymore.

Of coarse you know why they are killing dogs and chickens don't you? It's because the deer population is null and they have to eat something. :twocents:

They don't update, because they are in meeting with their boss, Conservation Northwest.

Yeppers, Cougars are on us also, we had one doe and four fawns eating with the broncs at the start of snow, and now we are down to the one doe.

Cougar tracks coming through here once a week.

We have an over population of wolves/cougars and a WDFW that will issue thousands of extra doe tags at the drop of a hat.

WDFW's favorite wildlife have to eat something.

They are CNW, just another fake environmental group pretending to be official.

The Poorman Cr cougar came right up on the porch and killed the dog in his bed.

WDFW's prize predators have to eat too.

Nope, this was a family that lives up on 2nd mile ranch, above the cattleguard. They had a problem with wolves after their dogs a few years ago.
