What tag allows you to hunt this early?

There are 30 early rifle tags for the Teanaway. They use to be a really late season tag but they switched it a few years ago.

Gave it a good effort over the last two days but came up short.  Plenty on time left for this permit however and I’ll be back.

We came up short as well. We had an opportunity but it didn't pan out. Did see a really good bear as well. We do have a lot of time left, will give it another go here shortly.

As cool as it is hunting up high in that ground, don't overlook the low elevation ground. There are lots of elk that never leave the bottom.
