No cow, just a sow.

Hunted for at least 1 1/2 weeks for a cow. I have not seen a cow since the first day we hunted. We have seen Bulls, nice bucks etc. Hoping the Bulls start rounding up the cows. Has anyone seen any cows? Not on private land? Hoping to get back over there for the last couple of days.

And perhaps all the cows have been pushed to taneum for my cow tag? I hope at least a couple are left for you guys though, the bear is nice but nothing beats an elk for the dinner table.

Had the same problem on Friday.  The bugle was in full swing and it was easy to find bulls but none of them had any cows with them.  I ended up eating this permit but it was well worth the 6 points.
