Could be. I think they are getting their butts kicked by the Sig rangefinder.
They've always been fairly common at that price on camofire a couple times a year. The sig would be completely unbeatable if they would have included weather capability into it.

Sig is the best all around unit there is, but for a guy who is shooting long range and needs weather data, the Leica is a better unit.

I googled to check them out, sound really good, but probably too pricey for most hunters.http://www.eurooptic.com/vectronix.aspx

Last time I was out with one I couldn't get a consistent reading on a white rock past 3240 yards in bright mid-day sun with wicked mirage. I had to actually range the base of the tree behind it to get the 3285 yard reading. Absolutely unacceptable if you ask me. I'm told that the Sig Kilo is so good it would have done it faster, more accurately and made me coffee while I waited.Quote from: bearpaw on August 06, 2016, 02:00:15 PMI googled to check them out, sound really good, but probably too pricey for most hunters.http://www.eurooptic.com/vectronix.aspxI'll bring mine in January and we can burn through a set of batteries just playing around with it.
