I heard them up there two years ago. They sound a lot different than yotes when they get howling.

First time we heard them was three years ago.  Still haven't seen one but have definitely heard them.

Yup.  We had one after our dog in the yard.  Hear them occasionally too.   :bash:

"Wolves can be wandering through, or they could be establishing a pack, but [this wolf] needs a mate to do that, so we don't know that yet," Peterson says"

The USFWS and WDFW usually release wolves in pairs.

"From the polls that have been done, most people support having wolves back in Washington state, and this is particularly exciting because having one in a state park, it would be more protected compared to those on private land or in national forests," Peterson explains."

"State parks have a dual mission to "protect wildlife"? With Wolves?

"This story has been updated as of Monday, Aug. 8, to reflect corrections since its original posting. This wolf is not the first to have been recorded on Mt. Spokane in more than 70 years, as originally reported."

How long will it take for their stupidity to catch up to them?
