Lots of bears rooting around today.Best berry crop I've seen in years

Indeed there was. I Spotted one about a half mile or so out, waltched him for about ten minutes and boom...rolling down the hill. Was pretty neat to see it all go down through the spotter not knowing a hunter was on to him. I ended up making the trek to where the hunter dropped him and helped him get it out, about 4 miles or so in. Some other friends of mine dropped one about an hour later about 1000 yards south of the first bear. They are moving for sure.

I sure wish we could get a 8/15 opener in 117!!!!

So fs road 7030 opens the 15th? I camped out by the river saterday night thought I seen hunters and a few random gun shots later in the evening

I'm pretty sure it's all 653 up there and opens on the 15th but not positive exactly where you were. Lots of target shooting up there too

I'm pretty sure it's all 653 up there and opens on the 15th but not positive exactly where you were. Lots of target shooting up there too
Makes sence I was at the very start of 7030 camping at the little river by the Bridge about 300 yards from the start of 7030 I was curious I heard shooting all day but between 630 to 730 at night I heard a few different one gun shots

What elevation you seeing the berries at???? We went out on monday and the berries where non-existent

I was north of highway 2 somewhere between monroe and stevens pass. ;)
