Snow Peak Cabin

Anyone ever rented this cabin in the colville forest? Any insight or opinions on it? Thinking about taking the old lady on a overnight trip and staying here. Any advice on scouting game in the area? (Potential hunting spot: deer, bear or even turkey?) Making a trip she'll enjoy and I can benefit from would be great. Thanks in advance, feel free to PM

It's a great getaway! I have stayed there a few times and enjoy it. It's well stocked with pots/pans/cookstove... you will need bedding and your personal items.
There is a trail from the West that I prefer to walk in on. You might look at that as an option.
There's not a ton of game there (at least along the trail) but I have seen moose/deer/small game pretty regularly. We had fresh lion tracks in the dust one morning. The water can be pretty slow this time of year, and I would suggest a filter for it. The spring box is a little gamey... last time I was there a BIG western toad was using it as a bathtub
