So do you just swat them on the water?  When they swim into the decoys and I jump up and yell at them to flush them they just swim off.  Tried jump shooting them from the canoe but they just swim ahead of it or sneak off into the brush.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

We used to fry the breast filets in oil like a steak, decent eating and if you are a gizzard lover... BONANZA, the largest gizzard for body size of any waterfowl.  I have only ever seen a few when hunting the westside and none out here in the islands.
