Could be a fawn. What date was the pic taken?

10/24/2015

My cam was up over the winter and I was thinking able to get it till a month ago. Tried posting the whole pic, but the site wouldn't let me for some reason.

Is the camera anywhere near town?  Could it be a farm animal?

Nope.  It's up in the woods,  a long way from any farm.

:dunno: I'm stumped then.  I would have guessed fawn but the date doesn't allow that so then I was thinking farm animal. :dunno:

It does look like a fawn to me. When you zoom in you can see the front legs are folded. When was it taken?

October 24th 2015.  Really small for that time of year.  Conceived late?  :dunno:

Maybe a really healthy sized rabbit and small cougar? :dunno:
@jackelope says the 4h kids are going to be selling rabbits for meat at the fair this year.  Maybe get a few and use them as bait to try and get a shot at that cat.

'nuff said, case closed, I am not going to question a rabbit guy.  That is a big rabbit though, right?
