Couple decent Bulls 8/15 update, new bulls.
« on: July 18, 2016, 08:20:31 AM »
Got out this weekend to check one of my cams, had a couple decent bulls on there.  September needs to hurry up.  They are pictures of pictures so the quality sucks, but you get the idea.

My original spot went stale so I moved the cam and found some new bulls.

Hard horned already. Seems early.  I had a late July bull hard horned on my cam.

I'm trying to get better at identifying elk, are these Roosevelt elks because of their big bodies? I've read they get that dark color on their antlers from rubbing certain trees on the coast?

Nice looking bulls regardless!

It seems about right for the bulls in this area, I saw one last weekend that was already polished up.
