16 gauge lead ammo
« on: August 10, 2016, 11:58:47 AM »
Anyone in the Moses Lake area hunt upland with a 16 gauge.   I found a couple boxes of shells while emptying out some storage boxes.

I hunt upland with a 16 exclusively but live in Tacoma.  Maybe instead of getting rid of the shells you should get a 16 to shoot them in.  Once you go 16, you'll never want to shoot anything else.

16 GA rules. But I live in Olympia. Some lucky sole will get these.

I looked at the short run 16 gauge Citoris back when they were producing them.  The Citori I do have now is one of the super light 20 gauges.

I started hunting with a 16 gauge and switched to a 12 gauge in 1966.  12 gauge was starting to take over the market when I made the switch and I don't think Winchester was producing their latest ammo for the 16.  This was when the plastic shot cup was introduced.

I've got two 16's, love them. But for hunting I always grab my 28. I seldom hunt pheasant but if I did, i'd take a 16.
There's a reason I like dog's more than people
