Scouting/ hunting GMU 460
« on: August 28, 2016, 04:26:12 PM »
My kids had stomach flu for a couple of days. So I went to east side HWY 18 GMU 460 to get fresh air. Got all my staff  together DNR map and OnX. It is nice area but already overgrown since I been there 3 years ago. Found nice spot to sit/call about 1 mile in. But convince my self that I'm not road hunter and went 2 more miles. Went checked old spots but but they were all overgrown. Scout berry bushes and glass for a while with no results. On the way back 2 dirt motorcycles zip by, even no motorized vehicles allowed. Soon I got to first spot I was thinking to stay, sad discovery was waiting for me. It was fresh tracks and fresh warm scat on the middle of the road.
But still it was nice and  relaxing little  trip.

Sorry for my English.

Love it, but have to do little mods. But overall it serves me well, it much easier to carry combination gun vs rifle + shotgun
