I have a in-laws in the Flathead Valley and was thinking about making a trip a little further east when we visit this fall to hunt some birds.  If anyone has any experience in the western portion of region 4 and wouldn't mind a few questions please PM me.

Thanks for the help!

Aaron

I am seeing more Huns then I ever have sinice I I have been coming out here. I was a little concerned about the pheasants with all the heavy rain in mid may through the first of June.  But in the past week and a half the grasshoppers  have come out and now finding good numbers  of them but very young birds. I  do think we lost  a lot in the first hatch but a strong 2nd & 3rd hatch.
The Sharpies (my passion )  seem to be strong as well I have only chased them  4 days since I came over here the 1st of August  but have found decent covers every time out.  I am running a lot of young dogs in those areas.  So who knows what I am not seeing.  Looking forward to the 1st. And 2nd of Sept. To go work them over before coming back to  WA. To return some dogs. Then I will head back over here on the.12th  for the.season.

I have a pup this year and plan on making at least one trip to Cheateu. Just because I used to go up there and shoot pheasants without a dog when I went to college in Dillon. WMC. It's been 10 years I'm super excited thanks for getting my blood flowin.
Lead em if they're running.
