I was blown away at some of the tags on the list this year! Some great hunts didn't go in the first draw.

They probably met their non resident quota in the draw and subsequent sales.

We should get a thank you card in the mail for all the revenue we generated.

There are always some primo hunts available in the second draw. Probably because the people that draw them on the first draw can't purchase them after they die of a heart attack seeing they were drawn on the first go. Only reason I can think of not to pick up some of these tags

I think that most of those tags are guys who never knew they drew. I do the pointhunter app and lots of guys say thank you for telling me when the app sends out draw results.  They say I did not know.  Some forgot that they put in their wife or kid.
no tags for me in second draw.
There were successful people in the draw results for second draw from the PointHunter app.
Here is what I was dreaming I would get if I drew the second chance draw tag.

Nada for me as well.  Draw odds are terrible...at least 100/1 and 200/1 or worse on a lot of them.  My elk choice was 250/1.  The only good news is that you have the same odds as a resident.  I called a district office and they told me the 10% NR limitation does not exist for this draw.

Good to know.  That is the first time I have heard the 10% non-resident cap did not apply.  Maybe try next year.  Thanks.
