Backpackers pantry makes olive oil single packets that are much more convienent and far less messy than a small bottle.  I used to do that and it seemed like any bottle I would try ended up leaking

+1 - even when I taped them I had problems.  I've heard there are good solutions I just haven't found them yet.

I use a one or more of the small Nalgene bottles, depending on length of trip. No leakage problems, but I do put them in a Ziploc bag for insurance.

My first Mountain House goes into my GSI Fairshare mug. Small, Snowpeak titanium spork. If you don't oppose a lack of variety, I put one kind of meal in a gallon ziplock and just heat what you want to eat in the GSI mug... it fits an entire mountain house with water. Also ends up being my coffee mug.  :dunno:
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.
